Some January 2015 Rambling

I hope the start of 2015 has been fantastic for you. For me, it started a little slow to be honest and I have only now got my New Year mojo started. On the 11th January, after a month or so of not working on my NaNoWriMo 2014 novel, I reread it and made another list of changes that was much smaller than the first one thankfully. Reading it again is what kick-started my writing bug and I am currently going through that new list and doing some tweaking and mini changes before a BIG edit starting on Monday from the beginning of my novel, right the way through to the end. I am feeling excited again. HELLO 2015!

In other news, on the 1st of January this year, a random picture came up on my instagram feed that simply said 'Page 1 of 365'. This picture set off a potentially exciting idea for a daily writing challenge of sorts. Every day I am going to write a page of a story and at the end of the year, technically, I should have an entire novel of over 300 pages long. On the 1st, I gaily wrote one page and became instantly hooked - the idea for it came out of nowhere BUT on day 3, I got sidetracked and haven't written a page since ... OOPS! Well starting from Monday, I intend to continue 'A Page a Day' once more and hopefully stick to it this time because I am intrigued where this story will take me ...

I envision the next month being a plethora of edits and words. I may also have a breakdown.

Until next time.
